Resume

In recent decades, there has been significant success in the treatment of oncological diseases in both children and adults. Survival over 5 years for a number of nosological forms reaches 80% or more. This has become possible as a result of the development of effective comprehensive treatment programs, in which chemotherapy is given a leading place. However, chemotherapy cannot be currently imagined without the installation of a central venous port. Material and methods. In 2017-2024, 513 patients were implanted with venous port systems for central venous access in the Tashkent city branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology. Results. In the early postoperative period, the number of diagnosed complications was small - 5 cases (0.97%). 2 port systems were removed.
