APPLICATION OF LIQUID BIOPSY FOR MONITORING PROGRESSION AND RECURRENCE OF OVARIAN CANCER

Resume

Ovarian cancer remains one of the most aggressive gynecological malignancies with a high mortality rate. Traditional diagnostic methods, such as imaging and tumor marker detection, have limited sensitivity at early stages of recurrence. Liquid biopsy represents a promising non-invasive monitoring method based on the analysis of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), exosomes, and circulating tumor cells. This article discusses current approaches to the use of liquid biopsy in ovarian cancer, its potential for evaluating treatment effectiveness, early detection of recurrence, and outcome prediction.
