Resume

Cholangitis after reconstructive surgery on the bile ducts is a serious problem of modern hepatobiliary surgery, significantly impairing the prognosis and quality of life of patients. According to modern research, the incidence of postoperative cholangitis varies from 15% to 45%, and recurrent forms are observed in 30-60% of patients after reconstructive interventions on the biliary tract. The problem is particularly relevant in patients with high strictures and damage to the bile ducts, when anatomical and functional changes in the biliary tract create conditions for the persistence of infection and the formation of antibiotic-resistant strains of microorganisms.Traditional methods of cholangitis prevention and treatment, including systemic antibacterial therapy and passive drainage of the bile ducts, often show insufficient effectiveness
