DIAGNOSTIC SIGNIFICANCE OF HEMOSTASIS PARAMETERS IN VARIOUS STAGES OF CHRONIC VIRAL HEPATITIS

Resume

Chronic viral hepatitis leads to a gradual deterioration of liver function and causes complex disorders of the hemostasis system. The liver is a major component of hemostasis, synthesizing coagulation factors and anticoagulant proteins. This study was aimed at assessing changes in hemostasis parameters at different stages of chronic viral hepatitis and determining their diagnostic significance. 120 patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and C were included in the study. Patients were divided into groups according to the Child-Pugh classification. Hemostasis parameters (PT, APTT, INR, fibrinogen, D-dimer, antithrombin III) and modern tests (thromboelastography) were performed.
