Resume
This article presents a clinical study evaluating the effectiveness of laparoscopic surgery in managing perforated gastroduodenal ulcers. Outcomes of 152 patients were analyzed and compared between laparoscopic and open surgical approaches. The use of minimally invasive techniques significantly reduced postoperative complications, shortened hospital stay, and accelerated recovery. The primary indications for laparoscopic repair include hemodynamic stability and ulcer size less than 10 mm. With appropriate patient selection, laparoscopic repair should be considered the preferred tactic in the emergency surgical treatment of perforated peptic ulcers.
Keywords. Perforated ulcer; gastroduodenal ulcer; laparoscopy; minimally invasive surgery; omental patch; peritonitis
