Resume

Immunohistochemical Characteristics of Ovarian Tumors in Khorezm Region. This study examined the immunohistochemical features of ovarian tumors in the Khorezm region. Tissue samples from ovarian tumors were analyzed for expression of four key markers – Ki-67, CD34, p53, and VEGF. The results reflected distinct biological characteristics of benign, borderline, and malignant ovarian tumors, showing significant differences in marker expression levels. In particular, malignant ovarian tumors demonstrated a very high proliferation index with strong Ki-67 expression, along with markedly increased microvessel density and VEGF expression, indicating enhanced angiogenesis. The p53 oncoprotein was predominantly positive in malignant tumors and almost absent in benign tumors. These findings confirm the importance of immunohistochemical markers in evaluating the clinical behavior and prognosis of ovarian tumors.

Keywords: ovarian tumors, markers, immunohistochemical studies.
