PECULIARITIES OF COMPLIANCE IN PATIENTS DURING IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA THERAPY

Resume
Purpose. To study the psychological aspects of adherence to treatment in patients with iron deficiency anemia. Material and methods. The research was carried out by means of questionnaires on the basis of large outpatient institutions in 4 regions. The age of the patients who took the questionnaire ranged from 18 to 60 years. A total of 2000 patients were examined, 500 patients in each area. The research was carried out on the basis of the Compliance Level questionnaire. Results. A high level of adherence was noted only in 59% of the respondents, while 3.6% had low adherence, and 37.3% - medium. The most pronounced was the decrease in the behavioral aspect, which manifests itself in the patient's inattention or frivolous attitude towards therapy. The proportion of patients with a low level of behavioral compliance was 42.8%. An average level of behavioral compliance was determined in 35.8% of patients, while the level was high in 21.4% of patients. Output. A high level of compliance was observed only in 59% of the patients with IDA surveyed. At the same time, patients with a low level of compliance showed a pronounced deficit of the behavioral component
