CHARACTERISTICS OF CLINICAL MORGOLOGY CHANGES IN PNEUMOPATHIES IN NEONATAL DEATHS

Resume

The study investigated the clinical and morphological aspects of autopsy materials in the deaths of newborns with early and late neonatal death in the Andijan region in 2021-2024, and analyzed statistical data on the BABIES matrix indicators. In the Andijan region, early and late neonatal deaths were observed more often in the early neonatal period, and more often among infants weighing more than 2500 grams. In the early neonatal period (1-7 days), newborns show with venous engorgement of internal organs, hemodynamic disorders in the microcirculatory bed, primary and secondary atelectasis in the lung tissue, desquamation of the bronchiolar mucosa. Edema-hemorrhagic syndrome was observed in immature infants with diffuse atelectasis, leading to early neonatal deaths. Stillbirths accounted for approximately one in five cases. Constrictive arteritis of hyaline membranes and small arteries was observed during this period. In the late neonatal period (8-28 days), muturation the respiratory tract was observed, and an increase in surfactant production occurred in parallel with the differentiation and vascularization of some respiratory departments. Venous congestion, edema, diapedesis, and hemorrhages were more common in the lungs, while atelectasis and emphysema were not present. The edematous-hemorrhagic form of pneumopathies was noted to be predominant
