Resume

This preclinical study evaluated the anti-inflammatory activity of Ointment 2, composed of goose fat, aloe, and methyluracil and chloramphenicol. The peak of the inflammatory response was observed at the 4th hour post-induction, which was therefore selected as the primary assessment time point. The results demonstrated that both Ointment 2 and the reference ointment containing methyluracil and chloramphenicol exhibited statistically significant anti-inflammatory effects (p<0.001). Ointment 2 notably reduced paw edema volume at the 4-hour mark, showing efficacy comparable to the standard preparation. These findings suggest the potential of this formulation as a local anti-inflammatory agent
