THE ROLE OF BIOMECHANICAL AND MATHEMATICAL STUDIES IN IMPROVING HIP JOINT ENDOPROSTHESIS PROCEDURES

Resume

A biomechanical and mathematical analysis was conducted using a 3D model of the hip joint in the context of endoprosthetic replacement. The stress–strain distribution within the acetabulum was examined both prior to and following the implantation of artificial joints. The study demonstrated that reconstructive procedures addressing acetabular defects result in a stress–strain state that closely approximates physiological (normal) stress levels.
