MORPHOLOGICAL BASES OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF SHMORL’S HERNIA

Resume

In this scientific study, all parts of the spine, the peripheral dense bone of the body, the middle part of the humerus, the elastic membrane covering the articular surface, pathomorphological changes occurring in the fibrous membrane of the tibial disc were studied. The object of the study was discectomy, pieces of spinal tissue obtained during laminectomy. The results showed that strong and irreversible dystrophic and destructive changes developed in the compact bone columns of the spine, including fibrous dysplasia and calcification, the bone columns lost their histotopography and became structureless. It has been established that during blood transfusion, carbohydrate and protein substances, connective tissue tumors, calcification, and in some cases complete lipomatosis develop in bone marrow cells instead of normal bone marrow cells. In the elastic fibrous sheath covering the skeletal bone, there is splitting of elastic fibers, their homogenization, the formation of a coarse protein, intermediate vacuolization and splitting.
