Resume

An integrative method of stratification of the risk of complications of cirrhosis of the liver of viral etiology has been developed, including a comprehensive assessment of clinical, laboratory, instrumental and biochemical parameters (albumin, bilirubin, INR, fibroelastometry, platelets, and degree of VVP). A cohort study (n=90) with 6‑month follow-up was conducted. The risk index (RPI) was developed and validated, demonstrating AUC=0.88; sensitivity 84%, specificity 80%. As a result, the incidence of complications decreased (ascites -28%, encephalopathy -32%), hospitalizations (-35%), improved clinical and biochemical parameters and quality of life (CLDQ +22%)

Key words: cirrhosis of the liver, viral etiology, risk stratification, fibroelastometry, complications, indicator of cerebral palsy
