Resume

Postpartum sepsis is a generalized inflammatory reaction caused by the penetration of pathogenic microorganisms into the blood after childbirth. It can develop both after natural childbirth and after cesarean section. In conditions of sepsis, deep activation of the hemostasis system occurs, often leading to the development of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC syndrome). Changes in the hemostasis chart can precede the clinical picture, which makes it an important tool for early diagnosis
