Resume

This article focuses on the biomechanical aspects of orthodontic treatment for anterior dental crowding using individually programmed aligners. Key parameters of tooth movement—translation, rotation, and torque control—are analyzed in the context of the spatial limitations of the anterior dental arch. The study examines the characteristics of periodontal load distribution depending on aligner geometry, occlusal configuration, and biomechanical tissue response. Particular attention is given to the risks of cumulative errors associated with digital planning and aligner manufacturing stages, as well as the clinical consequences of interproximal reduction in cases of insufficient arch space. The stability and predictability of tooth movement are found to depend on the accuracy of treatment planning, the use of rotational control elements, aligner design, and stiffness gradients of the material. Clinical and mechanical conditions required to achieve therapeutic effectiveness in the correction of anterior crowding are outlined.

Keywords: orthodontic biomechanics, anterior crowding, aligners, translation, rotation, torque, stiffness gradient, periodontium, interproximal reduction, individualized planning.
