FERTILITY OF ECHINOCOCCAL BLADDER IN SMALL AND CATTLE IN DIFFERENT REGIONS OF THE AZERBAIJAN REPUBLIC

Resume

Relevance. Echinococcosis is a natural focal helminthic disease, which belongs to the group of cestodiasis. Purpose of the study. The purpose of the study was to study the fertility of echinococcal bladders in small and large cattle in different areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Materials and methods. The study included 402 heads of animals and 912 parasite cysts. The cysts were assessed using a macroscopic visual method. Results. It was found that echinococcal vesicles of a fertile nature are quite common among animals in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Moreover, among small cattle it is detected 2 times more than in cattle. Also, in small and large cattle, the fertility of echinococcal blisters in the Lenkoran region is less than in the Greater Caucasus and Kura-Aran lowland
