Resume

The aim of the study was to assess the degree of kidney tissue damage in cases of gestational pyelonephritis using modern pathomorphological and immunohistochemical methods. Immunohistochemical markers such as CD-34, P-53, and Bcl-2 were employed to examine structural and functional changes in the renal parenchyma and vascular walls. The study identified dystrophic, necrobiotic, atrophic, and sclerotic alterations associated with gestational pyelonephritis at various stages of pregnancy and depending on the number of pregnancies. Urodynamic disturbances were primarily linked to damage in mesenchymal tissue, glomeruli, and blood vessels. Functional alterations were more pronounced during the first pregnancy, whereas atrophic and sclerotic tissue changes were more evident in the second and third pregnancies.

Keywords: immunohistochemical analysis, gestational pyelonephritis, stages of pregnancy, renal morphology.
