Resume
The clinical efficacy of deep parasternal blockade attracts the interest of scientists, especially for postoperative anesthesia after heart surgery. The aim of the study. To study the effect of deep parasternal blockade under the control of ultrasound navigation on the function of external respiration in patients after coronary artery bypass grafting. Research materials and methods. 121 patients, who are divided into 2 groups depending on the method of postoperative anesthesia. Group 1-the main group consisted of 60 patients who underwent deep parasternal blockade on both sides after surgery. Narcotic analgesics were used as a "life-saving strategy" when necessary. Group 2 - control group - 61 patients who received postoperative anesthesia with narcotic analgesics. Assessment of the function of external respiration according to the following indicators: Forced vital capacity of the lungs (FVC); volume of forced exhalation in 1 second (OFV1); ratio of LVС / OFV1; peak volume exhalation rate. Research results. FVC in the control group remained significantly low by 14.3%, FEV1 was significantly lower by 22.2%, PEF was significantly lower by 17.3%, FEV1/FVC was lower by 10.6% compared with the main group, which indicated a better restoration of respiratory function in patients of the main group against the background of the use of deep parasternal blockade and reduction of the use of narcotic analgesics for postoperative pain relief. Conclusion. The study of the effect of deep parasternal blockade on respiratory function indicators revealed the beneficial effect of the applied method of regional anesthesia, contributing to the rapid recovery of patients.
Key words: Effect of deep parasternal block on respiratory function, aortocoronary bypass surgery, postoperative rehabilitation.
