Resume

Aim - to evaluate the effectiveness of conservative treatment of intervertebral disc herniation using physiotherapeutic procedures. Materials and methods: An analysis of the results of inpatient treatment of 98 patients with spinal osteochondrosis was conducted in the Vertebrology Department of the National Center for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics of Persons with Disabilities for the period 2024-2025. There were 66 men and 32 women. Results and their discussion: Against the background of receiving conservative treatment, the intervertebral disc becomes more elastic, "resilient", increases in height, as if rejuvenated. Physiotherapy enhances the regeneration of disc tissue, which restores its normal shape and its shock absorber function. Conclusions: conservative treatment in the form of pharmacotherapy, physiotherapy and exercise therapy is the method of choice for non-invasive treatment of patients with spinal disc herniations

Key words: disc herniations, spine, complex rehabilitation conservative treatment, exercise therapy, physiotherapy
