Resume
This has made it possible to achieve significant success in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with acute ischemic stroke, which is manifested by a decrease in mortality and disability. Despite the undoubted achievements in this field, the problem of the negative impact of neurological deficits on the effectiveness of rehabilitation measures, short- and long-term prognosis, the functional state of patients and the level of quality of life remains no less significant. Post-stroke disability and cognitive impairment often co-exist, and this condition is associated with high mortality rates, poor recovery, increased hospital admissions, and increased economic costs
