Resume

The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical and laboratory efficacy of obeticholic acid as part of combination therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB). The conducted research demonstrated that the inclusion of obeticholic acid significantly improved clinical symptoms and laboratory parameters. The drug was well tolerated and did not cause adverse effects. Therapy led to a marked reduction in the severity of cholestatic and cytolytic syndromes, as well as decreased levels of bilirubin and aminotransferase activity (ALT, AST), reflecting improved liver function. Additionally, lipid metabolism improved significantly, with reduced levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol, and low-density lipoproteins, and an increase in high-density lipoproteins, indicating the normalization of metabolic processes
