EVALUATION OF DIFFUSE AXONAL INJURY THROUGH HISTOLOGICAL STAINING METHODS

Holikov Shavkatbek - Andijan State Medical Institute

Resume

This study evaluates tissue-level pathological changes in traumatic brain injury through histomorphological analysis of 35 autopsy cases. Key staining techniques (H&E, LFB, Nissl, PAS, and Perl’s) were applied to assess ischemia, demyelination, neuronal damage, and microhemorrhage. Results indicate strong clinical relevance between microscopic findings and imaging-based diagnostics. The study supports histological stains as essential tools in identifying functional brain injury and guiding neurotrauma prognosis
