SOME "TYPOLOGICAL" FEATURES OF GASTRODUODENAL YAR BLEEDING IN ELDERLY ADOLESCENTS

Resume

The authors report that the problem of ulcerative gastroduodenal bleeding (ULG) in emergency surgery continues to be the subject of large-scale scientific research conducted in the clinics and laboratories of our Republic, in the CIS countries and far abroad, where the frequency of this disease is 15-20%, with a high overall mortality rate (10.8-13.5%) and postoperative mortality (14.7-19.3%). At the same time, in individuals over 60 years old, postoperative mortality reaches up to 73%. The authors note that this is due to the disagreements of surgeons in determining surgical tactics, shortcomings in the pre-hospital stage in terms of diagnosis, preoperative preparation, as well as in choosing the method and scope of the operation, which is associated with insufficient attention to the age-related characteristics of the body. It is concluded that taking into account the typological features of the BCC contributes to the optimization of surgical tactics and improvement of treatment outcomes.
