Resume
Restless legs syndrome observed in diabetes mellitus is a relevant clinical issue at the intersection of neurology and endocrinology. It is a neurological condition that arises as a complication of diabetes mellitus, primarily due to peripheral nerve damage in the lower limbs. This article provides a comprehensive overview of early diagnosis, proper differentiation, and the implementation of individualized treatment strategies for patients with diabetes suffering from restless legs syndrome. The study emphasizes that timely identification and appropriate management of this condition can improve the prognosis of disease progression, prevent complications, and enhance patients’ quality of life
