CURRENT TRENDS AND UNRESOLVED ISSUES IN MODERN ENDODONTIC PRACTICE

Resume

Modern endodontics is developing rapidly; however, despite advances in instrumentation, irrigation and visualization, there are still a number of unresolved clinical and diagnostic challenges. The article discusses key problematic aspects of endodontic treatment: difficult patency of root canals, persistent infections, disinfection and sealing issues, as well as complications associated with anatomical variations. Modern methods of solving these problems and directions of further research are analyzed. The necessity of interdisciplinary approach and advanced training of specialists to improve the effectiveness of endodontic therapy is outlined.
