Resume
Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) represents one of the most severe complications of herpes zoster, characterized by persistent pain syndrome that significantly reduces patients' quality of life. Traditional approaches to predicting PHN development were based predominantly on clinical risk factors such as age, severity of the acute phase, and lesion localization. However, modern studies demonstrate the necessity of an integrated approach, including analysis of biomarkers of inflammation, neurodegeneration, and pain sensitivity for more accurate prediction of disease course. The aim of the study is to develop a comprehensive prognostic model for pain syndrome development in PHN based on a combination of clinical parameters and laboratory blood biomarkers.
