Resume

In this scientific article, the authors examine the nature and characteristics of laboratory and instrumental-diagnostic manifestations of deep paraproctitis in patients with diabetes mellitus. The study involved 48 patients with deep paraproctitis and concomitant diabetes mellitus, focusing on general clinical and laboratory indicators. The researchers investigated hemostasis parameters, biochemical markers, indicators of inflammation and endogenous intoxication, as well as microbial contamination of purulent wounds in these patients. The findings revealed that laboratory, microbiological, and instrumental-diagnostic signs of deep paraproctitis in diabetic patients are characterized by a tendency towards progressive systemic inflammation against a background of metabolic decompensation. Thus, it has been revealed that deep paraproctitis in patients with diabetes mellitus requires a specific diagnostic approach based on a multifactorial assessment of clinical, laboratory, and microbiological data, along with the targeted use of imaging methods and consideration of the severity of metabolic disorders.

Keywords: deep paraproctitis, diabetes mellitus, features of clinical manifestations. diagnosis.
