Resume

In this scientific article, the authors analyze the clinical and diagnostic features of deep paraproctitis in patients with diabetes mellitus, depending on its anatomical forms. The study involves 48 patients with various anatomical locations of deep forms of paraproctitis who also have diabetes mellitus. The authors examine the characteristics of the clinical course and the diagnostic instrumental studies used. They investigate the frequency of local and general clinical manifestations of deep paraproctitis in relation to anatomical locations. Additionally, the authors study the nature and frequency of severe complicated forms of deep paraproctitis based on clinical signs. The article discusses the potential of diagnostic resources. Overall, based on their research, the authors concluded that the clinical manifestations of deep paraproctitis in patients with diabetes mellitus are characterized by the predominance of systemic signs of inflammation over local symptoms, especially in PVR and RTR localizations. The examined patients demonstrated a tendency towards an atypical, subtle onset of the disease, which complicates early diagnosis and contributes to delayed hospital admission.

Keywords: deep paraproctitis, diabetes mellitus, clinical course, diagnosis.
