Resume

Researches were conducted in 84 patients with zoonotic leishmaniasis aged 2 to 42 years. The diagnosis of zoonotic leishmaniasis was confirmed by clinical, epidemiological and parasitological methods.

Changes in the relative and absolute number of lymphocytes in the blood, as well as the relative and absolute number of CD4+ and CD8+ cells, and the change in the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ cells were analyzed with local and general use of the Gepon immunomodulator in patients with zoonotic leishmaniasis.

The immunomodulator Gepon was used orally by 24 patients of the first control group, by rubbing on the ulcer focus to 32 patients of the second control group, and by rubbing and orally by 28 patients of the main group. In a separate study of the results of local and general use of Gepon, the effect on the absolute and relative values of total lymphocytes in the blood and the change in the absolute and relative values of T-helpers-CD4+ and T-killers-CD8+ and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ was significant.
