COMPLEX REHABILITATION EXPERIENCE OF CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT OF LUMBAR DISC HERNIATION

Resume

This study analyzed the effectiveness of conservative treatment in the rehabilitation process after lumbar intervertebral disc herniation removal. Between 2024 and 2025, 98 patients (66 men and 32 women) with spinal osteochondrosis were observed in the Vertebrology Department of the National Center for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics of Persons with Disabilities. They received comprehensive treatment including pharmacotherapy, physiotherapy, and exercise therapy. The results showed that conservative therapy increased the elasticity and height of the intervertebral discs, restoring their shock-absorbing function. Moreover, physiotherapy procedures enhanced tissue regeneration and significantly improved clinical outcomes.
