Resume

In this article, 1001 boys involved in wrestling and 964 boys not involved in sports were examined. When studying their taste preferences, it was found that 55.6% of children prefer mainly fried food, 15.3% – fatty and 11.7% – salty. It was found that 44.4% of boys do not have information about healthy, proper and high-quality nutrition. This indicates the need to develop measures aimed at improving children's knowledge of proper nutrition in educational institutions.
