Resume

The article describes the results of treating gastroduodenal bleeding in patients with liver cirrhosis. The study showed that the use of combined endoscopic hemostasis (endoscopic injection of adrenaline solution and clipping of the bleeding vessel) in combination with antibiotic therapy significantly reduces the risk of bleeding recurrence and improves prognosis in such patients. It is also necessary to include drugs such as glutathione, rebamipide, and ceftriaxone in the standard conservative treatment. In the control group, the recurrence rate was 21%, while in the main group, it was only 5%. Mortality in the main group was three times lower compared to the control group. The cause of death in the control group, along with hemorrhagic complications and hepatorenal failure, included infectious complications in both operated and non-operated patients. It was found that in patients with bleeding and varices of the esophagus and stomach (VREV), gastroduodenal ulcers (GDU) may also be a secondary source of bleeding.

Keywords: Liver cirrhosis, gastroduodenal bleeding, combined endoscopic hemostasis, antibiotic therapy, bleeding recurrence, Bleeding varices of the esophagus and stomach (ВVREV).
