Resume

This article provides an in-depth analysis of occupational harmful factors found in the work of faculty and students of higher educational institutions, as well as their negative impact on health. The risk of developing occupational diseases of the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, nervous, and visual systems increases from year to year due to factors such as intellectual stress in the educational process, improper body posture, prolonged work in the same position, excessive use of computer equipment, and psycho-emotional pressure. The study identified the most common types of diseases among employees working in higher education and students undergoing training, and scientifically substantiated their main causes and mechanisms of development. The article also offers a scientifically based analysis of harmful factors found in the modern industrial environment and their impact on human health, effective preventive measures aimed at maintaining occupational hygiene, creating a healthy working environment and reducing risk factors. This work is an important scientific and practical resource serving the formation of a healthy work culture in the higher education system. In the course of the study, scientific and practical recommendations were developed for the prevention, early diagnosis and reduction of risk factors for occupational diseases.
