Resume

In recent years, the incidence of post-prosthetic periodontitis has been increasing among the population, which causes medical, social, and economic problems. In particular, the development of focal periodontitis after prosthetics is of particular importance, since it complicates its diagnosis and treatment. This article presents the results of the study, which indicate that the effect of improved complex therapy in patients with post-prosthetic focal periodontitis is explained by its antibacterial, detoxification, regenerative, and anti-inflammatory effects, as well as its cytomorphological effectiveness, which reduces cytomorphological parameters to normal, which ensures the elimination of cytopathological signs.

Key words. Diseases of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, widespread periodontitis, focal periodontitis, prostheses.
