Resume

A balanced ratio of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates is the main principle of proper nutrition, and their proportion should be 1:1:3. It should be noted that proteins are a kind of “building material” for a child’s body. Therefore, a child’s diet should include foods such as eggs, meat, fish, and milk. For children over one year of age, nine essential amino acids are indispensable: tryptophan, lysine, methionine, threonine, histidine, phenylalanine, valine, leucine, and isoleucine. In early childhood, special attention is paid to the optimal ratio in the diet between tryptophan, lysine, and sulfurcontaining amino acids (methionine + cysteine), which should be 1:3:3.

Keywords: rational nutrition, physical development, balanced diet, active growth, optimal dietary ratio
