Resume

Alveolitis is the most common post-extraction complication. The main symptoms of alveolitis appear 1-3 days after the surgical intervention. interventions and are represented by pain of varying intensity in the area of the socket of the extracted tooth, as well as irradiation of pain to neighboring teeth, the ear, the temporal region, in some cases - to the neck, eye and frontal region, loss of a blood clot, bad breath, an increase in temperature to subfebrile values, inflammation of the marginal edge of the gum, exposure of a fragment of the alveolar bone, grayish plaque on the walls of the socket, regional lymphadenitis. The main symptoms of this disease are pain in the socket area and partial or complete disintegration of the blood clot. Data on the prevalence of this disease is not always reliable, since not all patients return to dental medical institutions for mild forms of inflammation in the socket of an extracted tooth, limiting themselves to mouth rinses, thermal procedures, etc.
