Resume

The article explores the 17th-century medical heritage of Bukhara and analyzes the work of the Ashtarkhanid ruler Subhankuli Khan entitled “Tibbi Subhoniya.” The study examines the historical background, structure, and content of this medical treatise, showing its importance as a key source for understanding Central Asian medicine. The author highlights Subhankuli Khan’s synthesis of Avicennian and local traditions, as well as the treatise’s contributions to hygiene, pharmacology, and preventive medicine.
