AGE AND SEX-RELATED CHARACTERISTICS OF MAIN HEMATOLOGICAL INDICATORS IN CHILDREN 7–10 YEARS OLD

Resume

The study analyzed hematological parameters in 7–10-year-old children by age and gender. A physiological “leukocytic crossover” was observed, with neutrophil predominance at ages 8–9. Erythrocyte indices (Hb, MCV, MCH) showed an increasing trend. Boys demonstrated higher hemoglobin levels (p<0.05). The results highlight the need for updated age-adjusted hematological reference ranges in pediatric populations.
