THE ROLE OF ACE AND NOS3 GENE POLYMORPHISMS IN CARDIOVASCULAR ADAPTATION OF ATHLETES TO PHYSICAL LOADS

Resume
This article presents current data on the role of ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) and NOS3 (endothelial nitric oxide synthase) gene polymorphisms in the processes of cardiovascular adaptation of athletes to physical exercise. The molecular and genetic mechanisms of vascular tone regulation, hemodynamics, and endothelial function are discussed, as well as the effects of different allelic variants of the ACE (I/D) and NOS3 (G894T, Glu298Asp) genes on the functional parameters of the cardiovascular system. Particular attention is paid to the relationship between genetic factors and aerobic endurance, variability of blood pressure, resistance to physical stress, and the risk of functional maladaptation. The article analyzes domestic and international studies highlighting the significance of ACE and NOS3 polymorphisms in shaping individual adaptation strategies and personalized approaches to training. The data obtained provide a scientific basis for the implementation of genetic profiling in sports medicine to optimize physical loads and prevent disorders of cardiovascular regulation.
