Resume

In this study, the anti-inflammatory activity of the isolated compounds AsZafIr and Asmair was evaluated on experimental animals (25 rats) based on the “carrageenan model.” The substances were administered orally at doses of 50 and 100 mg/kg, and the reduction of hind paw edema was measured over time. The results showed that a 100 mg/kg dose of AsZafIr exhibited the highest anti-exudative activity, reducing swelling by 62.1%, while Asmair demonstrated 51.1% effectiveness at a dose of 50 mg/kg. Therefore, a 100 mg/kg dose of AsZafIr and a 50 mg/kg dose of Asmair are considered optimal doses that significantly reduce the inflammatory process. These findings confirm their potential as natural bioactive components with anti-inflammatory properties for further pharmacological research.
