Resume
499 HIV-infected children aged 0-18 were examined: the main group consisted of 261 children with acute infectious diarrhea, the control group consisted of 238 children without diarrhea. The diagnosis was made on the basis of clinical, virological, immunological, bacteriological, serological and statistical data.
In children with acute infectious diarrhea, profound disorders of the intestinal microbiocenosis were significantly more often recorded with moderate and high degrees of immunodeficiency in HIV infection compared with low and severe degrees of immunodeficiency (P<0.05). Violation of the obligate and facultative intestinal microflora in the compared groups is significantly more often observed with a high and severe degree of immunodeficiency. According to the detection of pathogenic bacteria Salmonella and Shigella between the compared groups, depending on the degree of immunofecitis in HIV infection in the compared groups, there are significant differences (P<0.05), with the detection of Cambilobacter and Yersinia, no significant differences were found.
Key words: HIV infection, children, immunodeficiency, CD4+ cells, acute infectious diarrhea, obligate, facultative, pathogenic intestinal microflora.
