HYGIENIC ASSESSMENT OF WORKING CONDITIONS IN FURNITURE MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISES

Resume

This article investigates the hygienic assessment of working conditions for employees in furniture manufacturing enterprises. The study was conducted at “ArtMebel” LLC in the Bukhara region, where physical (noise, lighting), chemical (dust, lacquer and glue vapors), and microclimatic (temperature, humidity) factors were measured. According to the results, noise levels ranged from 89 to 94 dB(A), dust concentration from 2.4 to 3.8 mg/m³, temperature was 31°C, and humidity 46%, all exceeding hygienic standards. Based on the findings, harmful factors affecting workers’ health were identified, and technical as well as sanitary-preventive measures were developed to reduce their impact. The study provides scientifically grounded recommendations for creating safe working conditions, maintaining a healthy production environment, and preventing occupational diseases in the furniture industry.
