Resume

Neuroarthropathy Charcot is one of the most serious manifestations of the diabetic foot syndrome and a multifaceted picture of the disease requires interdisciplinary cooperation. Despite the achievements in the study of mechanisms and manifestations of pathological changes in bone tissue in diabetes, there is no single opinion on the nature, frequency and causes of changes in the skeleton in the conditions of controlled hyperglycemia. The most likely explanation of the dissolution in the assessment of bone lesions in diabetes is the heterogeneity of the surveyed patient’s contingent, the use of various methods for estimating the state of bone tissue.

To date, there is no consensus on the role of biochemical markers of bone remodeling, the study of which would allow diagnosing bone-artistic pathology in the early stages and finding a differentiated approach to the treatment of this category of patients.
