HISTOMORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE PANCREAS IN CHILDREN

Resume

This article examines histomorphological changes in the pancreas in children with various forms of pancreatic pathology, including acute and chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, and congenital malformations. Comparative data on morphological features in children and adults are presented, and the causes, differences, and age-related characteristics of tissue response to injury are analyzed. Special attention is given to modern methods of morphological diagnostics, including immunohistochemistry and morphometry. The role of early diagnosis and the importance of histomorphological studies for understanding the pathogenesis of pancreatic diseases in childhood are emphasized.
