MODERN METHODS OF DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF CHRONIC RHINOSINUSITIS

Resume

Today, chronic rhinosinusitis is a disease with many predisposing factors, but no clearly proven etiology. The pathogenesis of chronic rhinosinusitis is also not fully understood, despite numerous studies on the subject. Regardless, further research on the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic rhinosinusitis is a priority in modern rhinology. The goals of treatment for chronic rhinosinusitis are to restore aeration and reduce the inflammatory process in the paranasal sinuses, achieving stable remission of the disease.
