MODERN APPROACHES TO THE STUDY OF THE ETIOLOGY, PATHOGENESIS, DIAGNOSIS, AND TREATMENT OF CHRONIC RHINOSINUSITIS

Resume

This study presents a modern view on the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis. It emphasizes the multifactorial nature of the disease, highlighting the interplay of infectious, allergic, immunological, and morphological factors. The advantages of endoscopic and radiological diagnostic methods (CT, MRI) are described. The effectiveness of a comprehensive therapeutic approach combining local and systemic medications, immunomodulatory and antiallergic therapy, as well as minimally invasive surgical interventions, has been substantiated. The results indicate that modern treatment strategies significantly improve patients’ quality of life.
