Resume

The article examines vitamin D levels and tear production parameters in computer users with a daily digital workload of 6 hours or more. Computer users demonstrated significantly lower vitamin D levels and reduced tear production according to the Schirmer I test compared to controls. The frequency of vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency was higher in the group of patients with computer vision syndrome. The obtained results highlight the importance of assessing vitamin D status during the examination of patients with computer vision syndrome.
