SURGICAL TACTICS FOR COMBINED CHEST INJURIES IN CHILDREN

Resume

The article discusses modern approaches to the surgical management of children with combined chest injuries. An analysis was conducted on the frequency of surgical interventions, including thoracentesis with pleural drainage and video-assisted thoracoscopy, as well as the role of conservative therapy in managing bone injuries. The results show that a differentiated approach allows reducing the number of traumatic operations, ensures early detection of complications, improves respiratory function, and shortens hospital stays. The proposed treatment strategy has demonstrated high clinical effectiveness and can be recommended for implementation in pediatric surgical practice.
