Resume

Dental implantation is currently the most physiological and effective method for restoring the lost function of the dentoalveolar system, providing not only functional but also aesthetic rehabilitation for patients. The success of implant treatment is largely determined by the process of osteointegration - a complex biological phenomenon in which a direct structural and functional connection of living bone tissue with the implant surface occurs without the formation of an intermediate layer of fibrous tissue.

Keywords: Dental implantation, osteoporosis, osteointegration, bone tissue, bone mineral density, bisphosphonates, nanostructured surfaces, hydroxyapatitis, growth factors, bone morphogenetic protein, plasma enriched with platelets, stem cells, osteoblasts, osteoclasts, bone plasty, targeted tissue regeneration, RANK/RANKL/OPG system, osteocalcin, osteopontin, type I collagen
