Resume

Nicotine stomatitis is a change in the mucous membrane of the oral cavity (primarily the hard palate) that occurs as a result of using tobacco products, such as cigarettes, pipes, or e-cigarettes. The condition is characterized by white or grayish pinpoint spots on the palate, dryness of the mouth, and an unpleasant oral odor. Pain is usually absent; however, after consuming hot foods, itching and a feeling of discomfort may occur.
