Resume

To date, key scientific and practical issues remain unresolved: there are no objective criteria for differentiating viable and necrotic tissues in patients with DM; the effect of modern physical methods (vacuum, photodynamic, and plasma therapy) on morphology, microbiota, and reparative processes in infected tissues has not been studied; an algorithm that would allow individualizing the volume of surgical procedures and the sequence of application of physical technologies; No comparative studies have been conducted on the effectiveness of integrated approaches based on the integration of objective diagnostics and gentle sanitation methods.

Keywords: Diabetes mellitus, necrotizing soft tissue infections.
